SPA BASICS

These answers to our guests most frequently asked questions will help you get the most out of your Spa experience.

  • Should I make an appointment for my treatments?

    Yes, at your earliest convenience, you can either telephone or come and visit us at the spa to make all reservations.

  • What should I wear to the Spa?

    To the spa you can wear your daily/regular clothes.

  • When should I arrive for my Spa treatment?

    We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes early to sit down, relax and enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the environment. To enhance your Spa session you can use our Jacuzzi for 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. If you wish to use this facility to simply enjoy without a Spa treatment then there is a small fee of US$10.

  • Is there someone to help me decide on the appropriate treatment?

    Our Spa Receptionist will assist you in planning a program to suit your needs.

  • Is there a limit to the number of Spa treatments I should plan in a day?

    You may have as many as you like. Our Spa Receptionist will tell you the best order in which you can enjoy your treatments.

  • What if I have special health considerations?

    Be sure to notify our Spa Receptionist or therapists before booking your treatments, we also ensure that all guests fill in a consultation form before all treatments to be aware of any health issues. She can also advise on treatments that are safe to enjoy during pregnancy.

  • What do I wear during my treatment?

    You may wish to wear your own bikini or briefs, choose what is most comfortable for you. Our therapists will always use draping techniques to respect your privacy.

  • Should men shave before their facial treatments?

    It is recommended that men shave a few hours before their facial appointments, rather than just before.

  • What about my watch, jewellery and valuables?

    Please leave these personal items in your villa, however, we do provide jewellery boxes for our guests to keep personal items safe. We do not assume liability for personal items.

  • What if I'm late for an appointment?

    Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed.

  • GIFT CERTIFICATES

    Our gift certificates for particular spa treatments, packages, products or dollar value are an ideal idea. They are fantastic year-round gifts for any occasion. Valid for 3 months.

  • RESERVATIONS

    Advanced booking prior to your arrival is recommended to secure your preferred time and date of treatments. All advanced bookings require a credit card at the time of booking.

  • SMOKING & ALCOHOL

    Smoking and the consumption of Alcohol within the Spa environment is prohibited.. We also recommend that Alcohol not be consumed before, during and immediately after your Spa treatment.

  • CANCELLATION POLICY

    Treatments you select are reserved especially for you. We understand that you may need to change or cancel an appointment, but we do ask that you provide 12 hours notice for all treatments. A 50% cancellation fee will be charged when required notice is not given. Any cancellation with less than 4 hours notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Full charges will be imposed for a 'no-show'.

  • REFUND POLICY

    Spa treatment packages and spa memberships are non-refundable, non-transferable or non-exchangeable.

  • SPA ETTIQUETTE

    The Duniye Spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation! Please respect the quiet and privacy of other spa guests by speaking in a soft voice or simply enjoying the silence. Please note that mobile phones and electric devices are discouraged!
